Overview

The Manchild. The Kegstand. The Reverse Weekend Warrior. Reach enlightenment while pounding copious brews in this essential guide to “manly mindfulness.” Expanding on Hannah Rothstein’s viral sensation, this is a roadmap to extra-sensory dude-ception, a state of mind in which one lives by the four facets of the bro-being: sports & fitness, partying, girls, and living large. Derived from the teachings of “Brogi Brent,” who found his guru through a haze of smoke in a room plastered with posters of Kate Upton, this colorful, mind-expanding, and totally hysterical tome includes over 40 poses illustrated by gorgeous photos, plus aphorisms such as “The root of suffering is attachment. Avoid a serious girlfriend at all costs.”

About the Author

Hannah Rothstein is a self-taught artist who doesn't believe that artists should have to limit themselves to one medium. So, she paints, illustrates, makes jewelry, photographs, and carefully crafts copy. Hannah's work first gained notoriety with her art project Thanksgiving Special and, soon after, Dr. Dreidel, which both took the international Internet by storm in late 2014. Her creations have been featured in and on TIME, the Guardian, ABC, Huffington Post, The MOMA’s Tumblr, This Is Colossal, Refinery 29, Bustle, the Daily Mail, Boing Boing, and many more. Originally from the wilds of upstate NY and currently living in San Francisco, Hannah graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brandeis University with a dual major in art history and French.
